I am a custom knife collector and well versed in steel, fit etc. I did my homework for these scissors and was not disappointed. They are not flimsey, are well crafted, fitted and sharp. You will be passing these on to your children.

I have medium to large hands, and these scissors provide barely enough room for two of my fingers through the loop on the lower handle. They should be advertised as herb snippers, similar to the Shun Herb Shears DM7100. Serviceable, sharp, good kitchen scissors for medium light tasks.

When this was received, there were no damages to the carton itself, but there is a tear from the bottom plug (which is hollow, so one can put sand into the base for stability) to the side of the unit. We took a picture of this and sent it to Safe Home Products, asking how to handle the problem of a damaged unit. They said that this is normal - they can replace the base, but the next one will look the same. Yeah, right. I have been told the same story by disreputable folks before, but lemme check with you other buyers. Do all you have a base with a small tear from the plug to the side of the pedestal?

I was very excited when I saw this bird bath at the price advertised. I was really wanting a nice birdbath for the birds that I had been feeding. It was not difficult to put the birdbath together. But I have been very disappointed in it. It is not level--not because of where I placed it, but because the holes connecting the base to the pedestal are evidently not in sync. There is no way to get the base level--it slopes. I had tried turning it every which way, and even tried redoing screwing the base onto the pedestal. Nothing works. I remember my dad having similar grill back in early 80's when I was just a kid. I don't know what happened to our grill, but when I grew up it was already gone and I couldn't find another one to buy anywhere.
Then my average Weber grill got stolen and I went online to buy another grill. So finally, 20 years later I found this grill I was looking for! to my great surprise it was the same high quality grill I remembered! the only difference is our old grill had wooden handles.

The gloves do allow flipping up the index finger and thumb tips of the gloves - left and right - for using a smart phone or other touch screen device.
The fabric is reasonably warm, but stiff. For me, the glove fingers are a bit too long, making using my phone a little awkward.
I have LLBean mitten/gloves with flip up mitten parts which exposes all the finger tips - but not the thumbs.
I do not know if there is a better solution than these gloves. I wish there were.

These gloves were sold out at every store online except Amazon ($22.00 everywhere else and $35 on Amazon), but I was willing to pay the extra money for good fitting gloves that worked with cameras and touch screens. The lining is fur-like, nice and comfy. The palms are covered with a textured material and the two fingertips (thumb & forefinger) have velcro to hold the tips back when you want to expose your tips.

The fit is perfect. I went to the Freehands website to view their sizing chart. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Oh, I also tried sewing conductive thread into the fingertip of my leather gloves before purchasing the Freehands gloves. I read a DIY article and found that although the thread did make my leather gloves touch screen capable, it was not as accurate as using my bare fingertip. Go with the Freehands!

Product shipped on time. Easy to assemble and use. Heats up very quickly. The temperature adjustment with the digital readout is a nice feature. You quickly learn what the best setting is for your work. The cord for the iron is over 3 feet long, the advertised picture makes the cord look short. I would recommend this product.

The construction quality of this product is fair at best. The connector for the soldering iron on the front of the base unit isn't anchored in its place, and I can already tell this will be the first thing I ever have to fix on this unit. Operationally... it doesn't seem to get as hot as the display says it is, but I'll have to confirm this with later testing. I had also bought two other Weller soldering guns (140/100W and 260/200W) along with this order and they too are poorly built compared to my older Weller tools. It's a shame.

I have been a diehard Windows fan for years and I decided to splurge for a Mac to see what I have been missing. My thoughts: pretty impressive.

I bought my Mac from Apple with the High Resolution Screen option. As soon as you open the box, you will notice the Mac packaged in a simple, but yet elegant, style. Pull that out and you get the charger and restore CDs. That's pretty much it. The MacBook Pro is beautiful in unibody aluminum. There's no cheap plastic pieces assembled with forty other pieces. It's just a slab of metal with a screwed in back plate (to upgrade RAM, Hard Drive, etc.) The screen is all glass and very nice although some reflections are obvious and annoying. There's a MagSafe Charging Port, Ethernet, a FireWire port, MiniDisplay Port, two USB ports, SD drive, headphone jack, and microphone jack. On the other side is just a DVD drive.

As soon as you power on the Mac, you are treated witha crisp image (and registration screens you have to get by). Images are sharp and blacks are decently deep. Typing on the keyboard is definitely enjoyable. They island backlighted keys are not too mushy and don't "bounce" a lot. The glass trackpad is more than sufficiently large and is responsive. Multi-touch gestures are amazingly convenient though it may take some time to get used to. Mac OSX instantly recognized everything I had plugged in (a nice change from installing drivers for Windows) except for my Microsoft Keyboard+Mouse, but even that took three key presses and it was done. The Core i7 is blazing fast. Motions and animations are swift and occur with little to no lag. iLife is simply amazing and it's a welcome change to some junk program preinstalled on Windows. 4GB of RAM is more than enough for most users, but power users (video/photo editors, gamers, and extreme multi-taskers) should upgrade to 8GB. Having two graphics card and switching between them is a great feature. The Mac will use the Intel graphics for regular use such as browsing the web or email. When needed for rendering or gaming, the Mac will switch to nVidia graphics for a nice boost.

Spaces is something really nice which Windows does not have. Spaces is like running a few virtual desktops within your OS. You can have certain apps on one page and separate them from others. I like to keep my media (iTunes and movies) on one space, productivity (Pages, Keynote, calendar, etc.) on another. Overall very impressive.

Of course, I still have tons of Windows stuff, so I set up Boot Camp. It worked quickly and smoothly with one minor hiccup. When I partitioned part of my hard drive for Windows 7 (major step-up from Vista), the Windows installation forced me to reformat the partition again to NTFS. After that, things were smooth as silk. Once Windows is installed, you'll want to take your OSX installation disk and insert it into the DVD drive to install all of the necessary drivers. Windows worked quickly as well and everything was back to normal.

Two minor annoyances with this purchase: price and BootCamp.

Shelling out $2000+ for a Mac when I could get an even better Windows laptop for $1500 was a bit hard to stomach. Oh well, I do get OSX out of it.
Second issue is heat. When stressing the processor, this laptop has a tendency to run very hot and the fans will kick in, raising this once whisper quiet laptop to a vacuum cleaner.

Another, though extremely minor issue is the BootCamp drivers. Since Apple updated them to 3.2, Microsoft Powerpoint is unusable. You can't start typing without it crashing. Downgrading BootCamp drivers to 3.0 does work, however, some responsiveness in the brightness and volume buttons are lost.

Overall, this Mac is something I am happy to have. It is definitely nice to experience something other than Windows. While Windows will be my main operating system for some time, using OSX is a pleasure. If you can shell out some extra cash, you should definitely try a MacBook Pro. If you don't like it, just return it within 14 days.

I purchased this card for my older AMD system which has AGP, knowing that other pci express cards would out perform for the price. But if you don't want to upgrade to pci express this card is a great choice. Just don't expect to be playing some of the new games coming out like Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3 in high settings.

I got this card strictly for gaming. It rocks. It has a separate power tap for the onboard fan, which is a bit on the loud side. I had no trouble running UT 2004 at 1680x1050 with no discernable frame rate reduction. Being that it is also about 2 years old now, it's a really great deal. Supports most current game features. I had no trouble playing F.E.A.R. or HL2 on it.

First, I must say the Customer service is excellent. A part from the frame was broken, when I contacted the company about the part they sent one out fast.
Now, about the product, the frame is put together cheaply. Also the instructions are kind of vague with very little info on parts and part numbers. The cherry arms are very strong. I think if the product came with a sturdier frame that it would complement the cherry arms. I intend to purchase a better frame.

So far this has been a fantastic frame for such a low price. The wooden arms are sturdy and of good construction, and the finish is clean and smooth. The metal frame is fairly solid, but I have one complaint: the little center legs on either side of the bottom are not enough to support the futon in bed form, i had a guest nearly flip the futon when sitting on the edge of it.

I saw this jacket in a regular small size at several other retail and online locations for $75 - 85. I've been pining over this coat for two months after seeing it at Disneyland (of all places). This was a great find. I ordered a large junior size and it fits well (medium probably would have been okay but the large will give me a little extra room to layer in the winter). I live in California, so this is a perfect jacket for Fall, Winter and Spring. It's a medium weight fabric, with a stylish fitted cut (very flattering)and lots of well-placed buttons and zippers give this pea coat a unique look that set it apart from the rest. The jacket is versatile, fine for both casual and dressier wear. The sleeves are a bit long but that fact doesn't take away from my love of this jacket. I gave it four stars instead of five because the buttons seem a little loose and may need some tightening with extended use. Otherwise I am VERY pleased with my purchase. I'm planning on buying the true navy sherpa version of this coat.

This is where it all started for me was in the reviews, I had looked at countless cribs at countless stores for about 3 months. Some of the concerns for the right crib was color, "of witch this is more cream but perfect," the style, "have you noticed that most cribs have all the screw holes right in the front?... what an eye sore, but this crib had most of them hidden and only 2 or 3 that you can see, also we were looking at the cribs that had the dip in the front because my wife if 5' 3'' and I'm 6' 2'', but we saw this one and it's even better because the whole front is as low as the lowest point of the dip which we found is perfect for her and I," the construction and how durable the crib would be over all and this was easily the buying factor for this crib, it does not scratch easily but will if you put enough oomph into it. The slats are far thicker than 98% of the ones I was looking at, it also is made of solid wood. The top of the back, front, and both sides have very nice solid cap rails that definitely add a smooth look to the crib. Also all the corners are nicely rounded for added safety. It only took about 1 � hours to put it together, and the instructions were fairly easy to fallow. Over all we are extremely happy and know we will have the best crib for our son.
